The world is full of nasty, horrible, spiteful little people who make themselves feel better by being mean to others. Whoever said that should be ignored. They want to get a reaction, they want to know that their words have disrupted your life, because then they can feel important. They're not.
Keep your chin up and keep writing, because to do anything else is to let them win. Just try to forget about it, like I did with that bitch who gave Magebound two stars on Amazon and said that she had read better fanfiction. See, I've forgotten all about THAT, lol.
I really have NO idea who Stephenie Meyers is, but there is nothing wrong with your writing. I think you might want to look at who wrote the negative critique. Your writings have a lot of value to them. They take heavy hitting topics that most people shy away from, and boldly (and intelligently) bring them to light for all to read in a wonderful, if not complex, work of fiction. And to top it off, You manage to maintain the right amount of humor, drama and romance. Please, continue your stories. Ignore the hogwash for limited minds!
I love MTTIC, and I'm sorry I've never commented or lest any sugestions. But there is no way your writing is that bad. You have realistic characters in an unrealistic situation. That take tallent, well done.
(btw; I really wish you would write more. But as someone who hasn't finished anything longer than a chapter in her life, I understand ^^)
