<---I can hear you squee.

Do you guys know what this is? DO YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT THIS IS?!

THAT, ladies (and...possibly gentlemen?) IS THE FIRST FIFTEEN CHAPTERS OF C&C, 30 PAGES OF 6 POINT SIZED FONT, HIGHLIGHTED AND MARKED UP.

YOU READ THAT RIGHT. CHARMS AND CURSES.

I'm going back, printing out all the chapters (five at a time), highlighting any important bits and poor bits, and then I'll compile everything in this swankified journal [livejournal.com profile] rachelmorph got me for Christmas. From there, I have some semblance of what I was actually going to do outlined in my head, and therefore be able to write the FINAL CHAPTERS OF C&C.

.....THEN START ALL THE FUCK OVER BECAUSE SO FAR EVERYTHING I READ IS SHIT. OVER-HYPED SHIT.

Seriously, I don't know why you people like it so much. Sure, the characters are fun and I have some semblance of plot admist the fluff. I WANT TO SLASH AND HACK THE TWISTED MUSE MUSICAL NUMBERS. And possibly all Springsteen references. He's still my idol, but I didn't realize how much I OVERDID IT.

All I see is one reference after another, whether it be pop culture or some bizarro-facts I was learning in school at the time, and wanting to flex my academic muscles for you all to gaga over my brain goop. GOD I WAS TERRIBLE. Maybe I should pick up NAWTS or GWAB up, since I can't reference anything in there. UGH. DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE I SWITCHED FROM DAWN HAVING HAZEL EYES TO "AQUA" THEN BACK TO HAZEL?! *twitch*

My brain hurts. But, I started writing this nearly four years ago. RAGGLEFRAGGLEGRUMBLEMUMBLE~ I want to start over NAWTS. I loved that world so much....but I know it needs to be hack'n'slashed. I mean....Jiminy Crickets, my grasp of first aid back then makes me CRINGE.

lol I'm glad the journal I bought you is turning out useful. And your stuff isn't so bad- just remember, you wrote a lot of it in high school, and the numerous fans you have are largely squeeing high school girls (like I was!) so we will largely disregard any bad writing in favor of the hot boys. And I think I noticed all the Springsteen stuff the first time around, but mostly I was like, "Damn, she really, really likes Springsteen." It would be cool if you picked up NAWTS again, but then I'd have to go through and reread all of it!

=O YOU'RE GOING TO RE-WRITE IT ALL SHINY AND SPARKLY AND IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING?! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I mean, yeah, I totally love the story as is, but I'm excited to see how you make it better than it already was! <3

(And haha, I think I did notice the switch in Dawn's eyes because I remember being SOOOO confused on his eye color and jumped back a few chapters to confirm that they HAD been hazel at some point.)

Um...is this the point where I say that I was never very into Charms and Curses? And that I liked My Toaster Thinks I'm Crazy much better? (that is a more recent one, yes?) This is not to say I thought it was bad, especially not compared to some of the dreck I find on fictionpress, but uh...yeah. YAY REWRITES!! I will be looking forward to it.

the best fics are the ones you can't figure out why you like. there's just something intrinsically awesome about them that can't be replicated under any circumstances.

charms and curses is one of those fics. :]

You writers are always so hard on yourselves! I'll be happy with whatever you churn out...

(Pretty much every writer out there likes to show off his/her brain goop with obscure references :-D)

You are a very creative, and imaginative writer!

...Did you just call your own writings "OVER-HYPED SHIT"? I am not in the habit of reading, let alone adoring, over-hyped anything. I like your work with good reason (all reasons were stated in comments to the WHY? journal log. I admit that I have read 2 of your stories (so little time). However, they were excellent. I am positive that whatever you are working on will be excellent as well. I hope that I get a chance to read your work. Good luck!
